Default Performance chip for 06 Ram 5.7 Hemi

I am trying to do all I can to boost fuel efficiency considering where gas is headed and more horsepower is always welcomed. What is the best chip you guys recommend to use? I've heard both Hypertech and Superchips are good so any advice and help is greatly appreciated.

It'd be more like a choice between the Superchip and Diablo. Most people I know who started with the Hypertech ended up with a Superchip or Diablo at some point down the road...

OK, yea I just saw the thread on FAQ and see a lot of people like the Diablo so I think I will go that route. Ive just recently started trying to do everything myself and don't have a ton of experience in mechanics but I love it and am willing to learn. Are the easy to instal an use? Is it something I could do or should I take it somewhere?

Initial setup takes a bit longer than normal because it is the first time the truck is getting tuned and the first time you are using it. But overall less than 10 mins total and you can do it all yourself.

Can you provide a link to the FAQ you saw? I did a search but couldn't locate it.

I can't speak for other brands but I have a Super Chip and I do get some what better gas mileage. And after experimenting with the setting I get the best mileage set on High Performance mode.
