So i noticed today I have two rust bubbles the size of quarters on the fender wells above the rear tires. I know this area is common but I dont understand. The inside of the wheel well looks like its brand new. Its still has a good coat of paint. It really pisses me off. I know my truck is 10 years old, but i dont see how this happened.
those bed are double walled and if water or snow and salt get in there its history after that , the moisture gets trapped , mine started the same thing and it ticks me off too , my buddy has a 03 and nothing , hit or miss type thing .

Oh great so now if I fix the rust it will just keep bubbling because its rusting on the inside. Wow. Thanks dodge.
seems like its the same place always. ive seen 06/07 with it even
Its probably due to either a small etch/eating into the paint (even a pinhole) or even a small void in the paint that allows the moisture to sweat into. Like they said, itll get worse until its stopped.
