Default Problum with subwoofer

Last weekend i installed subwoofers in my 2003 dodge ram qc. http://www.crutchfield.com/p_236DRQ2...al.html?tp=113 they sound awsome. The only thing is after a door is open then closed and you start driving agian they make a popping sound. Any ideas on what it could be? The amp is hoocked in through the speakers and not through the amp inputs in the back of my radio. It is a sony cd player. Thanks for any help in advance.

After any door is opened then closed and i start driving they make a poping sound. it dosent do it unless the door is opened and closed. it is almost like power surges through it or something like that.

The amp is hooked up with the speakers instead of being hooked into the back of the sterio.

You need to go through your wiring. You either have wiring connection issues in the door where you may have tapped signal from OR something close to the door so that when you close the door you are making something move.

I assume you are using the OEM head unit and used RCA converters on the rear door speaker wires?

I have a sony head unit but it is still hoocked into the rear doors with the RCA converters. when i order my speackers i am going to order the cabel to hook it directly to the head unit. I will go back through and check my conections if it ever quits raining.

You dont have to ORDER the cables to go from the HU to the amps. You can buy RCA cables anywhere, even at Walmart or other regular stores.
