Default Pocket Style Fender Flares with stock wheels

Hey guys im new to the board and i figured who else to get better advice then from you guys. My rockers are starting to chip and im looking into some flares. I guess my question is how would pocket style flares look on my truck? I really like the look of them but im not sure how they would look because my tires only stick out a little bit. They are bf goodrich all terrains and stand about 34 inches tall.

I'd think they'd look fine. Can't really go wrong with the flares as long as your truck isn't lowered...IMO

Im worried about pocket flares looking too big with my 12.5s and 1.5" spacers. I would go with the factory style or maybe a little wider but not the full pocket.

The only bad thing about them is if you ever want to take them off you will find the paint has been scratched from having them on

thanks man...and weed, i saw a thread where that guy with the nice 2wd with a white 06 clip (and then traded it in on a new one) lifted 1500 put them on

he ran body match color vinyl around the edge of where the flare sits. it protected the truck from the edges of the flares. I thought it was a great idea as I am wanting flares

Just throwing this out there, but adding flairs will do nothing to protect your rockers. Been there done that. Actually, they really don't do much of anything to protect the side of your truck. They are basically for looks in my opinion. If you want some rocker protection, get a set of those mopar mud flaps.

Nice tire/wheel combo btw!

Flares not flairs(those were markers in the 70's) are to cover your tires that stick out from the fenders to keep your truck legal for inspections or sometimes just for looks

Pocket flares are my personal favorite. I think they would look good.
