Just trying to do a little research on these. Anybody using them if so what brand name and your experiences with them. I've done a search on them but not really getting what i want from them.What is most important to me is how they fit and how well they actually work? Please be specific.... Thanks

 

Steve, I have Recons. They look great and fit great. I think some others will chime in that have tried all types, and suggest hid's. You won't find better performance than hid's, so read through some hid threads on here. I'm getting what "appears" to be less light output than my stock lights had, but I put in the xenon bulbs. Kind of depends on what your looking for, tinted, or smoked, color match, there are many options.

 

Was looking at either the smoked ones or just the ones with the black housing and clear lens. Do you have the RECON headlights and tail lights? Seems like alot of people say to get the HID upgrade.

 

Yeah, I have smoked Recon heads & tails, and 3rd brake light as well. I love them, but I was not looking for the brightest lights. You can't get brighter than hid's.

quick question...are projector headlights only halo style? i really would like to get a set of projector lights to use with a HID setup. i was gonna get HID to go with OEM style but i heard it looks like crap without the projector style. any ideas? i really don't dig the Halo look but if thats the only way...and they need to be smoked/black...
