03-07 SLT HEMI features posi?
I was talking to someone who has the off road package on his hemi ram (I think it's an 04) and he says with the package it comes with a posi rear end.
My question is; does the SLT come with a posi? Do all the trucks come with a posi?
Oh and if anyone knows; what is the laramie package? I thought it was standard leather but I've been looking at some that aren't leather.

"Posi" or "Posi-Traction" is a General Motors Corporation term for their limited-slip differential.
My 2005 Ram 2500 SLT with the 26P (Power Wagon) option package has a rear limited-slip differential. Oh, also rear and front electronically controlled lockers, from the factory.

Actually, the LSD is a separate line item even on the Off Road package (although it's almost always included.
It is all up to how it was ordered by the dealer or if the LSD box was checked or not.
Honestly, with how bad the factory LSD is and the related "C-Clip" issue, you are better off getting an open diff and putting in a real LSD, Power Wagon not withstanding...
