Default Long Bed flares on a Short Bed?

This may have been asked and answered but through about 4 hours of searching I couldn't find anything. I ordered some Bushwacker Pocket flares for my 07 QC SB. They arrived and the hardware kit in the box says "Long Bed." What's the difference? Can I use them on my Short Bed? I can't imagine them being shaped any differently. My only thought was that there might be mounting hole location differences (which wouldn't bother me). Thanks for the help!

I would think the wheel arch would be the same. Might be worth a carefully-worded call to Bushwacker.

I think they are probably the same. They list a different number for the 02-05 and 06-08 but im not sure if they are different or not

I believe for the year difference between the 06+ would be because of the headlight change, other than that they are likely identical.

Thanks for the replies guys. I think I'm just going to go for it. I've already got them sanded and ready for paint so I own them now regardless. I've held them up to the truck and they seem like they'll fit. I'll let you know how it turns out.
