Have an 08 ram 2wd. My newest project is the srt10 big brake set up with the 15inch rotors and ihave the rotors but waiting on the delivery on the new srt10 spindles and just wanted to find out if my calipers i have now will fit on the spindles as of right now till i can save up for the centric remans?

 

So with SRT brakes (05 to 06) the calipers bolt up and the rotors are the same diameter, to my knowledge.
In 04, Dodge only offered the SRT in SC with dual piston front brakes. The same we all have, painted red. In 05 and 06, they offered the QC and SC, both with quad piston front fixed calipers.

The calipers will fit your current spindles, and stock rotors.

This is coming from a guy who owned an SRT QC for 2 years, and my hemi for 5. Go over to VTCOA and search, plenty of the 04 guys have done the swap. Honestly, you wont see much of a difference other than looks.

I;ve also looked into the swap myself but I value the 17" rims I have, so I can;t upgrade unless I got to a 20".

I have a 2005 Dodge Ram Daytona and have put a 392/6.4 stroker motor in it. I have a 45RSE tran. in it and have broke the tran. twice. Dose anyone know if I can up grade my transmission or can I put the 68rse from the diesel in it and if so what changes do I have to make.

I know that ATS puts out some remanufactured 545rfe transmissions that can handle a great deal of HP. I have told myself that if I ever have a problem with mine I will not bother rebuilding it; I will just buy one from them. There are a number of guys on this forum that have some serious mods with motors and may have some real info for you.

Hey guys, I'm new to the truck community. I am picking up my 04 1500 Laraime next week. Soooo excited ! It does have some mods to it already, and there will be more to come. I will post some more pics later. I only have a few.

Right now I know the truck has a small lift kit, hid H/L, F/L, projector headlights, and led tail lights. Also has some kind of exhaust system and intake.

Unfortunately when I went to go see the truck is was night time in a freezing rain storm, but I liked what I saw and it felt awesome to drive!

I know this is an intro thread, but I will ask a few questions anyways.(And yes I did use the search bar!)

-I have only found 1 interior led/smd kit so far, it was from amazon. Can anyone recommend any other sites with a complete bulb kit ?

-I will be installing a backup camera with a double din, any recommendations for what unit to buy? It will be connecting to the double din.
