I have an 06 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 liter Hemi. I want to put a cherry bomb glasspack 4 inches in 4 inch out on the truck. should I keep the resignator. if I put the glass pack on will I lose torque. and if I put it on well I have enough back pressure. I want to eliminate the resignator but I'm not quite sure.

Why would you want to do this. Yes you will lose plenty of torque. Hemis need no more than 3inch in on a single exhaust system and 2.5 inches on a dual system. I don't even know how you would fit a 4 inch system under our trucks, but to use a 4 inch muffler, you'll have to have 4 inch pipe or some kind of adaptor, and with an adaptor, that would negate the purpose of having a 4 inch in out muffler

I was just going to do from the muffler back. not the whole entire exhaust. I did not realize the glass pack was a 4 in 4 out. I was wondering if I could still use it though that's all. I was just looking for a cheap easy way to get a nice little rumble out of the truck. but thanks for taking time to answer my question I appreciate it.

If noise is all your looking for, remove the resonators, and use a 3 inch in and out, muffler of your choice, then use a large tip or tips. It will be cheaper this way since your 3 inch pipe will already be in place and no adaptors will be needed, and no extra pipe will be needed. A 3 inch in and out glass pack with the resonators removed will give plenty of rumble
