Nice Look with the lifts, I'm considering installing a 2'' leveling kit also, have any of you experienced your factory shocks maxing out at length due to the lift? Would anyone know the demensions of a factory shock collapsed and extended on 02'' Ram 1500 quad cab 4x4? Would you recommend longer shocks after installing a 2'' leveling kit,or will upgraded like kind shocks still work the same? I know, lots of questions...Thanks

From what I've gathered thus far, it is not mandatory, but HIGHLY recommended to get longer shocks when doing a 2" level.

you'll top the shocks on that rig using OE shocks.. that will wear 'em like it's cool.. and you'll be replacing them..

you can get the little 'bracket extender' thingies, but I'd highly rec you just get longer shocks.. 2" longer to be precise..

I HATED the way my '02 QC 4x4 ran on the leveling kit and 35's.. So, I ended up lifting it 7".. then backed down to just a little over 4".. it rides SO much better now..

when it's all said and done, a level kit doesn't do anything but improve the looks.. be careful how much those looks are going to cost you.. they take other components out of spec- and then you're going to have issues..

just my .02!!

Any more pictures of level kits? I just dropped my beast off at Les Schwab to put a 2" level on him. I'll post pictures up as soon I have them.

So who remembered to re-aim their headlights?

My best is most leveled trucks just blind others now because they're aimed up another 10 degrees.
