I'd use the recommended ATF4.

I am not a big fan of any kind of additive, but I do think Lucas makes great products. I just used their fuel treatment in my gas tank with positive results. Newer vehicles just don't benefit from additives in their lubricants. Usually some fresh fluid (drain and fill) will yield just as good results. But if you want to be a guinnea pig, let us know how it works!

Any ATF4 will work unless you have a preference

I used some Lucas stop leak when I first got my truck, it was a little low. Hasn't lost a drop or made a sound yet. 2 months is all though.

I am a big fan of Lucas additives and I have added to all systems. Works awesome and compatible with any and all fluids in any vehicle.
