I have family in the Lexington area (Versailles) and have been there many times. Been a UK fan all my life. It's giving away how old I am, but I was at the '78 national title game in Indiana. By luck, I also have cousins in Indiana (Greencastle) who got tickets when damage to the arena in St. Louis caused the final four to be moved to IU's Assembly Hall.
I was 11 years old when I got to see old Joe B. Hall bring Jack Givens, Rick Robey, Kyle Macy and the boys who put a whoopin' on favored Mike Gminski and his Duke Blue Devils...

If the Wildcats could even just manage to shoot a paltry 50% from the free throw line they'd be in the national championship game tonight. Really **** poor display of free throw shooting. Well it's Connecticut's last hurrah for a while, cause I think the NCAA is gonna slap them down pretty hard for violations and it's my feeling Calhoun will just retire rather than face suspensios, fines, etc.
I'm rooting for Butler, 2nd trip in a row to the national championship game despite being a small school with a small athletic program. The entire basketball program budget isn't half what Connecticut pays coach Calhoun a year...
