Exclamation 99 Ram 1500 2wd

i am new on here literally just registered. but i have one of the biggest questions out there. what are the specifics on swapping my 5.9 for the newer 5.7 hemi?

you would need the engine and transmission for the hemi, and the computer too.

Agreed, the engine, trans, drive shaft and all the harness's and a lot of patience. If i were to do a full conversion like that I would do a CTD

CTD is a bit heavy for the 1500 front end I would think, and I don't know how well the 9.25 rear will hold up to all of that torque on a daily basis even though it is used in the front of a 2500 4x4.
