Default Bulbs

I want to get some bulbs for my projectors and high beams that are white and not that yellow tint. How would I figure out what type of bulbs to get? Does anyone happen to know?

~4300k is pure white light.

If you want a halogen go with Silverstar Ultra's. But since you already have the projectors...why not a set of HID's?

If your doing HID, check out the Morimoto kit with bulbs designed for hologen projectors. The have a reconfigured bulb focal point. No glare like putting HID in standard halogen housing.

It's the route I'll be going.

No HID's, I don't want to spend that much and I don't want to undo the whole dern headlight to put it in. I just wanted to know what kind of light bulb is good, bright and white and will fit these new headlights. Thanks for all the answers though guys.

I hear ya on the hid kits, but this one in particular uses hid bulbs with reconfigured focal points just for halogen projectors. Since you already have projector lamps there is no retrofitting or undoing of anything, just bulb replacement and necessary wiring/balast. Otherwise I would not have ordered it. Much research went into my decision.

If you are sticking with halogen bulbs, I use Nokya H1 80w 5000k Lo, and H1 70w 2300k Hi; same as in my old Bimmer. Sylvania Silverstars are another good option.

Then that kit may be worth checking out, when you get it done to yours let me know how it goes. Pics and everything as usual, and how to set it up if you don't mind man. For now though I think I'll just go with Halogen and see how that turns out. Again, thanks for all the help!

Yeah but weed those things are garbage.....Ethan you can get a set of HID's for $40, which is the same price as Silverstars. Try HIDgate on ebay or even the one on here. I cant remember the name.

HID's are the way to go. I just put them in my projector headlights and they are way brighter. I like them a lot and got them for $30 shipped on eBay.
