Default Sooooo I'm painting my tailgate...

Excuse me for the ****ty cell phone pix but it's all i had on me at the time.

Anyhow so I decided it was time to do some airbrushing on the new truck. I couldn't decide what exactly I wanted to do as I wanted an eye catcher but I didn't want to do something i do all the time. This is what I came up with.

Before candy (base white)

After candy (and some more detail)

So what do you all think? Friendly criticism welcome.

I am going to be adding more but this is it for now.

So after staring at the geisha I did on the tailgate all last night, i decided i didnt think it fit the truck well and sanded it off. So now I am working on a different idea and I think I have fell in love with it.

I am doing a fallen angel type portrait on the left side and was thinking of doing an airbrush under the dodge emblem and making it look like smoke coming from the tip and enveloping the angel.

The only thing is I was thinking of using the oriental blue kandy and going over everything again with it, but im afraid i will loose the detail.

What do you all think? Should i add a little blue (shading) or coat the whole thing?

Here is a cell pic of the angel so far.

You got painting skill. Good job, great way to show off your own work. Not my cup of tea, but it looks great.
