Default 2wd lift. I know, I know! lol

Ok so I know there are countless threads about this and I've searched for a read a bunch of them over the past week (instead of doing my college work haha but this is more important to me). So I have an 08 2wd w/ the HEMI (since that matters in some cases) and I want to lift it this summer with all my new income from that nice NROTC stipend I get. So I was looking at getting the 4" CST Suspension lift which I don't know how much it costs exactly. If anyone knows and would tell me that would be great. But I know it would be cheaper to "piece" together a lift too. So instead of the CST lift what if I got 3" spindles (or springs, which is better?), a 2" spacer, and then I guess a 3" rear block. What about control arms though? Could I get those from somewhere or would it just be better to get a whole kit in that case? I know this is long but I know you guys are experts compared to me since I'm new to this game.

Oh and I am aware that my piece together kit will make it a 5" lift. But im looking at between 4 ad 6" of lift.

the cst 7in is about $1400 and the cst 4in is about $900. The 7in has a 4" spindle and then a 3" coil. The 4" is a 4" spindle and both have blocks in the back

The spindle itself costs about $500. I just bought a 3" spindle for $270 shipped. I have a 2.5" level that was $100. I also have a 3" body lift. This will be about 9" of lift for under a grand

The shackles and blocks for the back are about $150 total. UCAs are not needed but will help your ride if you do spacers/longer coils with your year. \

If I were you I would buy a set of the $270 spindles and a 2 or 2.5" spacer. 5.5 or 5in of lift for about $400. I am about to be selling my 2.5" spacer actually if you want it.

Where could I find some UCAs if I wanted them? Because if I can do all that for under grand than I would be willing to spend a little extra for new UCAs. And sure Matt if youre willing to sell I'll take whatever I can get cheapest lol. More money for new tires.

Why are you getting rid of the spacers? Because of the coils you got?

I was on airbagit last night and I saw that they had I think it was 3" spindles with the UCAs for 600. That seems pretty cheap to me since then all I would need is the spacer and rear blocks.

Do you want the lift for looks and ground clearance or performance?

The airbagit stuff is the most price efficient. And I'm not getting UCAs

I'm getting shorter level spacers because of the ride. The taller you go the worse it is. Ans LA roads suck
