Default lights behind grill

this past weekend i put hella 500s behind the grill i love the look just need a new grill now but has anyone put hids in their hellas, like someone said once you go hid you never go back lol anyways here are some pictures

Looks great and we have had some customers do that. I will take a look to see if I have any pictures.

Guys have put HIDs in their Hellas before but it also depends on the light housing. For instance, my Hellas cannot accept HID bulbs due to the internal structure of the light housing.

Ive read that some of the HID housings are indeed quite deep.
That would make it pretty tricky - as Hella 500's are pretty shallow (the HID bulb housing can actually encroach on the Hell's lens).

Did you get them aimed where you want them? I had to trim a little bit of plastic off the bottom of the light housing to get them aimed down enough.

yeah they are at the height i want they are set a little higher than my lights because i dont have bights
