Bringing this back from the dead. Bought 2010 seats after seeing this but want to know about the console and back seat. I see the OP was on not too long ago...

Oh, sorry I never came back and updated the thread. I just used my OEM console between the front seats. You have to make a custom bracket and attach them to the new seats.

For the back seats, I had to cut the rear part of the base plate by about 2" or so, and redrill a new hole for the bold. Then on the back wall, I remove those "hooks" for the original seats, then I had to notch a hole in the metal for the hooks on the new seats to fall into when the seats go back.

Does the 2010 console not fit?

Do you happen to have a picture of what you did for the rear? They aren't loose or anything are they?

You know, it would probably be pretty cheap to get matching skin put on your console at a furniture upholsterer. If you go to an automotive upholstery shop they'll "skin" you. But furniture guys can do it and usually much, much cheaper.

Great thanks! Make a thread on the motorhome as well. That sounds like a fun build as well.

Here is what I had to do to make the back seats fit. It's a little hack-ish, but it works. Just as I was finishing up this project, I took on a HUGE motorhome conversion/bus Build including installing a Cummins engine.

Sorry for the Iphone pic's in the dark.

I just simply used the grinder wheel to cut 2 holes behind the seat, so the hooks on the new seats would fall into, then when you put the base of the seats down, the hooks drop down and stay in place.
I also had to cut 2" off the back of the base that bolts to the floor, and re-drill a new hole in the base for the rear bolt.

Where should I post the Cummins engine swap thread?
