Well, I am really impressed with them. High beams are like spot lights! Really like the cut-off beam pattern of projectors.
But alas they will be replaced with stockers retro-fitted with Morimoto HID (Bi-Xenon) Projectors this Dec. Acquiring components in the meantime.
Why did I install these halogen projectors when I already planned on installing HID Projectors? The original 10yr old headlamps were hazed beyond repair, cracked and stored water anytime it rained. Besides, the deal was to good to pass up at the time.

I hated my ebay projectors. Output was horrible for low and high beam. The stock housings with Silverstar bulbs were sooo much better.
I also think the perfect choice would be a real projector retrofit. However, I'd want to re-use the huge blinker reflector for the projector and use the existing reflector as a halogen (maybe even HIR) high beam.
I guess I could always chop up my ebay housings for a retrofit...

Sounds like you went with some that use the H1 bulb. Very poor output in comparison, however during research I found the the H7 and H3 projector lamps were far better. Even though, I still chose to go with the H1 projectors (cheaper) because the initial plan was to use a HID Kit with bulbs designed just for Halogen Projectors. There is a difference in the focal point of the bulb. Funny thing is I could only fing H7 foglamps.
On a side note, I do not see any reason these could not be fitted with dual Projectors for Hi and Lo. Hmmm...
Who knows, I may still do that instead of the Morimoto retro-fit project I'm planning now.

Needless to say, I see the other reason people don't really like these. Cheaply made, I can't believe the shoddy materials/workmanship in these things. When I opened it up I was like WTF?! No wonder it cracked at the base of the adjustment posts.
Definitely going with stockers and retrofitting them with Morimoto mini's.
Lesson Learned!
