This is a reply to hammer z71's comment of a stiffer ride! You are going to air bags(AIR bags) from a piece of steel that has very little give to AIR bags.

i have an '02 w/ torsion bars.. i put a 2.5" level on it last August.. i hated the steering clunk, so i lifted it in December.. I had tossed the OE keys so I had to use the 2.5" keys still- the suspension lift was 4~5", and with the keys I was around 7".. My CV's made it until this Saturday past, and I put new ones on yesterday and lowered the front to about 4.5" of lift from factory.. my torsion bars are set really low..

I love the new look of it to be honest, and wish i'd have done this from the start.. the new cv's are not at a drastic angle at all- and given that they are 'extreme angle cv's' to begin with, i hope to get a lot of miles out of them before i have to worry about it again..

btw- i run cepek FCII 35x12.5's..

Where is this comment coming from? HammerZ71 was referring to the stiffer ride that you get when you add a leveling kit to the front end of our trucks. I see no mention of Air Bags... please explain...

If you are going to raise it go with the Bilstein 5100 leveling shocks. I put them in and love them. They knock 2 birds out with one stone, because you wont have to buy spacers and shock because they do both.

we dont even know if he is 2wd or 4x4....and traction to the rear?

Its always good to have rear traction. Wider tires is an easy fix

@ Brandon Anderson:

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! That's random yet hilarious....

As for traction, anything is better than stock Goodyears if you still have those tires, trash em.
