What is a company name that does such a thing... I am interested and would like to do some research.
I live in SW Ontario where we use lots of salt on our roads in the winter and I own a 1980 Fiat Spider and a 1998 Rav4 that have no rust perforations and have used Rust Check, Oil Gard and Krown over the years with equal success. Best time to apply it is in the early spring so that during the heat of the summer it can creep into cracks, crevices and welds and displace the salty water so that it can be evaporated out. It has to be done yearly but but every other year would likely be OK. It about $100 a year but if you intend on keeping your vehicles a long time it is money well spent.

PS unless your vehicle is less than 6 months from it's date of manufacture do not use anything like Ziebart, sound proofing, asphalt, wax etc. as they will trap water and cause corrosion. and as a newspaper report once wrote "you might as well use cream cheese." The material applied at the factory works well as it is applied early enough.

I oil all my trucks take the tail lights out and spray over the fender wells, in the rockers , and in the cab corners. I never spray the whole underside it just makes a mess of the underside of your truck. The only thing I am worried about is the body rusting. I just keep paint on my frame.

I've used fluid film the last couple of years. I think it's lamb wool grease based like LPS. You can eat the stuff, it's nontoxic.
I know people that melt candle wax in mineral spirits, add bar chain oil and say that keeps their vehicles rust free.
