Hi all, I'm a newby to the forum and I appreciate all your knowledge and help in advance.

We've just purchased a 2008 Mega Cab 1500HD.............outside of the 8 bolt wheels, can someone bring me up to speed on the other differences between it and the 1/2 tons and 3/4 tons? It's a 4X4 Hemi, if that makes a difference.

I don't really understand what I've got.

I know GM tried the 1500HD several years ago and I didn't understand those either.

 

The Mega Cab 1500s are actually on a 3/4 ton frame. Solid front axle, different rear end, different spring setup, etc.
