Swamp runner is more of a style of the vehicle I'd imagine. They have 12" lifts, swamp bogger tires..etc,.
Plus, if you give something a cool name, someone is bound to get all juiced up over it, even if it's a sticker package and nothing else. I remember when I worked at a dealership years ago, the GM hired a sticker guy to throw racing stripes on a V6 Camaro. The bill was $260. They charged $880 for the sticker package and called it a special edition. It was a basic v6'er with a sticker package and some poor sap payed $880 for what he could have had done himself for $260.
Is this thing lifted on bogger tires or what?
Dodge made Night runners and a baja style Sand runner package but is recent. That's all I know of "runners" that were on the assembly line.
