Talking Time to Switch it up.... New Go-Fast-Goodies

Picked up a couple new items over the last few weeks:

First was a Sonnax Line Booster, I have mixed feelings about this mod, first 4 days or so it was giving me hard/firm shifts and you could feel every one of them, then on the 5th day after having to give it some gas @ 60mph and accelerating to around 90mph to get around a convoy of land scaping trucks to get on to my exit it suddenly changed and completely smoothed everything out. My 1-2 2-3 3-2P under light throttle is super smooth now to the point that you can barely feel the shifts (big change from what it was after first installing it) and it accelerates really quick, havent had to go over 1/2 throttle when passing at all since it has done this. My 2-3 shift at WOT though is a little funky now, has a bit of a jerk to it so I am on the fence with it as of now. Loving the PT, not to enthused about the WOT, gonna give it a bit to see if it learns a little more and works things out. Trans temp is still good, Color is still good Shifts are all still there.

Then Just got this in last night:

Was running my aFe kit for probably 5years now and like it but wanted to switch it up a little, I have messed with the aFe setup so much to get it to remove the HEMI hat and am just tired of it. So this will be put on here over the weekend, maybe a little sooner. Problem I am running into with the Vararam is I need to cut the scoop that goes in the bumper as I cannot cut or remove my bumper cover, not to worried about it, just want to make sure its done right the first time. Should just have to cut the thing in half and slide it in place. Then need to make a free flowing grill insert for it to protect it from debri and give it a more stylelish look, so that is my other weekend project.

Anyways just thought I'd share.

Did you reset the PCM after adding on the Sonnax?

Just followed the instructions with the sonnax, said to drive it for a while with light/medium throttle or do a CVI reset which cant be done via handheld or pcm reset.

Kinda sad though that a 5000lb truck can keep up with a 2000lb car.... To each their own though
