choice 2 ftw not really feelin the 1st ones but it also depends on what your over all look is going to be. will you be painting the bumpers or going for a chrome look?

I'm not really going for a chrome look, I'm just keeping the truck the way it is...it's too expensive to paint everything. I'm going to be putting a new exhaust, sound system and alarm system on soon anyways..

I just wasn't sure what will look best with the truck the way it is

I'm having the same dilemma, but I think I would choose #2.

It changes the stock look less.

Hate the chrome look for tail lights. Looks ricey.

I was looking at a set of Hella Replacements before I sold my truck. They are awesome looking.

I'm the ONLY one who picked #1. I seen right past that ricer look and here's why...

Both lights the way they are look bad IMO. The first ones are clear and mirrored, the second pair is too red and doesn't alter the look much from stock.

So, I would go with #1 and then coat with VHT. It'll give you that tinted look and you won't have to go super dark to cover up like you would with the red so the light shining through will be pretty bright. I've got step-by-step instructions on painting with VHT. Pretty easy.
It'll make them look like the Recon's but prob with a much cheaper price tag?? How much are they?
