I got my 08 a year ago with 35k on it for 18,700. It's not a 4x4, but is a fully loaded Hemi Big Horn Ed with 3.92's

Boy I'll tell ya', it's a shame more of us weren't shoppin' when the 4th Gens hit the market. My cousin in upstate NY bought a brand spankin' new '08 Hemi QCSB ThunderRoad, 4x4 loaded for right at $24,000 when the '09s were just showing up on dealer lots. Thing had a sticker of something like $43k on it!!!

No Kidding. My truck was on the lot for 22,500, and I talked them down to 18,700 and got a 3 yr 36k mi warranty in the deal too. Not too bad I didn't think.

Now wait a minute, you had them to $13,900 including TT&T and they gave you $5000 for your trade but it was $12,000 out the door? Ok, I've been out of school since the late '80s and I know they got the "new math" now, but them numbers don't add up to me???

If the TT&T was included in the $13,900 and you take $5000 off for the trade that makes $8900. Where did the other $3100 come into play here?

The way your posts read to me, you paid more like $17,000 for that truck!!!

Maybe he talked them down to 12k and traded in his other vehicle for 5k, so he only paid 7k. That's the only other way I see to read his post.

Not if his trade was actually worth anywhere near $5k and he had them down to $13,900 before the trade came into the picture...
