i am installing a k&n cold air int he next few days
i am getting the 63-1533 has anyone heard good or bad about it

 

All CAI are pretty much the same and do the same thing. Majority of us have them and no one I know has any issues.

 

Yep, whether you build your own and buy a good quality cone filter and have $50 bucks in it or spend $300 on a name brand, the CFM rate and air temp are so close the difference is negligible. Some of the top dollar ones that route air from completely outside the engine bay have a little better gains...

 

Truck will be faster because your wallet is much lighter
