Default HEMI with MDS MPG question.

I'm sick of 12.5 MPG on my everyday driving.

I have an '07 QCSB with 3.55 gears.

What gas mileage are you getting and what have you done to improve (positively) it?

Well, that's about right under most circumstances. My '03 with 3.55s and 285/70s is averaging a bit over 13 mpg, but that's almost all interstates at around 80 mph. What maintenance have you done to yours? There are a number of things you can do to maybe squeeze another mpg or so.

Not much, at 45K miles it's had fluids change and that's about it.

I have CAI and a GP exhaust.

Did you change your plugs? It's recommended to change them every 30K.

Have you changed plugs at 30k like you were supposed to? Cleaned the TB at 30k? Checked/cleaned/replaced EGR and PCV? New filters every 15k? Are your tires properly inflated? All are prime mpg robbers...

I bought it with 37K on it. The dealer said it was up to date on all the service.

I could check it all myself, but we are only talking 1-2 MPG. I wanna here how you gained 5-7MPG.

The programmer sound like a great option.

3.55 was stock. Prolly what you have.

Programmer? You have the 3865 flashpaq?

9.6 to 13.5 is an awesome gain. If I were to get that same MPG+ I'd be at 16.5. That would make a world of difference. That's another 100 miles per tank.

By the by my over head reading is exactly .7MPG over hand calculated, everytime.
