Gears and crush sleeve eliminator kit.
Just read about this on another site so I'm posting a link up as I think this will help a lot of people install their gears.

Here's a pic of the kit with a used crush sleeve.
Please note......this is not one of my own pics, but is posted on here by me not for my own kudos but.......to just plain help people.

I do know that several people on here are struggling with noisy installs and just want to help.
I'm ordering from Randy's one of these kits as I type, to hopefully help with a planned instal that I'll be undertaking soon.
It will certainly eliminate the overtightening problems of the crush sleeve that is apparently so easy to do and gives plenty of adjustment to get that Pinion preload just right!!

Yep I got one. It's the Ratech 4109. Since they only have shims to adjust every 0.002", I was one of the unfortunate ones that needed an "in between". 0.602 was too tight, 0.604 was too loose. I ended up "lapping" the solid spacer down 0.001" with 220 grit wet sand paper and got it to 0.603. Now I'm getting proper preload.
