Nice find, Al.

But I'll be honest. There is almost nothing I haven't done, nor did I pay to have done on my truck, but for the $300 in labor per axle, I'd pay to have it done next time, and the time after, and the time after, and .....

Well, you get my drift... LOL...

I will do anything and have torn a few engines completely down in my day, but I don't f*ck with transmissions or ring & pinions...

Ha ha ha ha.....I know what you mean Hammer.
Diffs axles and transmissions are a dark art lol.
I would pay someone in a heartbeat to install my 4:56's wich I've had here begging to be fitted since Oct 2010.
But here in the UK........it's hard to find anyone I'd trust!

IDK guys, after watching that vid I would be tempted to do my own install. He especially gives good info at the end. My only thing though is I know I would need a few crush sleeves, pinion seals and pinion nuts. And that inch pound wrench he is using is NOT cheap.

THey aren't cheap but I use a beam style works just as good. The guy on gearinstalls.com uses the beam style as well so they're worth something. I think I picked mine up from Amazon for like $35. Crush sleeves - if you want, I'd recommend the solid spacer or crush sleeve eliminator kit personally.

Hammer, where's your sense of adventure?! Actually, to be honest, If I could have found someone as good as your guy that installs for cheap, I'd jump all over it.
