Default Changed wheel hub bearing, control arm ball joint

I did the other side a couple months ago. Changed wheel hub bearing, control arm, ball joint. I don't have much to add about how to do it, just thought I'd share a few pics of the tools that helped me. It went quick this time.

Here I'm loosening the ball joint on the upper control arm. It comes off quick and easy with large tie rod remover.

This tool made it quick to remove lower ball joint from steering knuckle. That narrow claw easily squeezed in between dust shield and steering knuckle.

Here's a pic of oem lower ball joint. Looks like a cap on the top but it's not.

BJ easily removed using another loaner tool from AAP.

I fought with those bolts for like a half a day last time. (because I tried to remove them while steering knuckle was attached and working my way around the cv shaft. I used angled socket extensions etc. ) What a big dope I was. This time it only took a couple seconds and an impact gun with the steering knuckle removed. I didn't even need to use any heat or pb blaster this time.

Removing a wheel well liner just takes a minute and gives you lots of elbow room when reinstalling new upper control arm.

I need to change my upper arm and lower balljoints also. I assume an alignment is next on your list?

Thanks. Yep when I did the other side I got frustrated, bent the dust pan back and cut it loose with reciprocating saw. LOL!
