I have the same question, 2006 1500 QC 4x4 4.7l Magnum. I don't tow anything and I am just looking for better gas mileage and better performance ( I know better mpg and better performance are a contradiction in terms, ).

I kinda like the Superchips for the 4.7s and don't think performance won't equal better gas mileage, less throttle for the same amount of acceleration means less gas used. The biggest problem is guys get more power they tend to press the gas peddle harder...

Last I saw one dyno'd, was a 1999 2nd Gen 5.9 gasser and was probably about two years ago. Due to the cheap band-aid fix of the plenum issue the 5.9 was SEVERELY de-tuned from the factory. The Superchips performance tune yielded somewhere in the vicinity of 50 HP and 60 Torque if memory serves. HUGE gains for a gasser tuner IMO...

I'm using the Bully Dog Triple Dog GT...has been working pretty well so far. I don't know how it would compare to the diablo or superchips though
