Hey guys, just got back from my two week vacation to our cabin on lake superior. Just wanted to share about one my girlfriends and I adventures. My grandfather passed away 6 months ago, so this trip was more a remembrance of him and the things we all did together. He used to take me fishing on a little tiny lake in the chequamegon forest. Well our adventure started with a map looking at roads to get to this lake in the middle of the boondocks. We mapped out the roads to take and headed out for our fishing trip. Let you all be known, this lake is so small you can just fish from the shores. I began to take the Forest Road down to the lake, one mile goes by and the road is just a nice sandy road, tons of fun. Road begins to start looking a little suspicious, then we begin to start passing areas where loggers have set up camp. Then the road slims down in a road that barely fits my truck down. My girlfriend said just go for it, so I did. Scratched the crap out of truck (Luckily light scratches that came right out with a polish job). Put my truck to the real test for the first time. Driving over fallen down trees, mudholes, rocks, and all the above. Here is some pictures from the trip, figured i would share.














Also we went on the ATV trails all over northern Wisconsin. Put on about 150 miles.

 

thats what im talkin bout. wish i had trials like that around me.

 

I do too haha, it was a twelve hour drive up there.

Were you on the Dead Horse ATV trail? I live in WI, and don't even have a cabin up north.


You have something better close to you.........Its Badlands Offroad Park near Attica!!!

 

Nope, we stayed in bayfield county.

Badlands, I have yet to go there. I really do not know much about it. Is it more ATV or Truck style? And if it is truck, would I regret taking my truck there lol.

Looks to crazy for the truck. Will def have to check it out for taking the 4wheelers down some weekend.
