Default Tire size?

i have a 2004 reg cab 2wd 1500 that has 245/70/r17's on it, i am wondering what is the largest tire size i can get away with? i have the daystar level on the front and drop shackles in the rear. can i fit 275/70/17's or 285/70/17's without any rub? Thanks

I have an 02 2wd with a 2" level and run 285/70/17s and absolutely no rub to speak of.

Same here. It's possible a 295 or 305 would work. I don't know. Remember, you're lengthening your gear ratio when you do this.
