Default homemade tow mirrors...?

hey yall, im new to the forum... but i was wondering if you could make your own tow mirrors. i have all the time in the world, but not the money. so i was wondering if it would be possible to make some tow mirrors out of maybe plywood and then fiberglass them? do yall think it would be too heavy? i just dont want to spend $300 on them... by the way, i have a 2002 ram 1500 with manuel windows, locks, and mirrors.

Just gotta make sure they don't shake @ 80. Yep, plywood and fiberglass would probably be too heavy.

Seems like to much of a hassle.

You can find manual ones that are OE replacements for less than $200 on ebay. I think trying to make homemade ones that look good would be quite a task.

There was a guy on DT with a heated and powered after market (read: Kool Vue) for sale.
