hey sorry to highjack, but matt i was talking to you before about preventing scratches from these pocket flares. what were the ideas around this? cuz the flares are held on by the fender wells and the 3m tape. but where the paint meets the plastic of the flare is there anything to prevent scratches, water, dirt from getting behind he flare?

i've had my bushwacker for almost a month and haven't put them on bc i am still having second thoughts about them...dont wanna **** up the paint and i think without a lift and bigger tires it will look dumb right now...

I finally got mine on late yesterday afternoon. I received them friday afternoon, but had a family emergency and had to put them off a couple of days. They don't add as much coverage as I had hoped for but for the price I am not complaining. Thanks cjs4444 for the link and here are some pictures. Name: 000_0038.jpg

There is a liner but it rubs your paint. I'll take a pic after work

Looks good man. It does me good to see your truck look as good as it does. I just purchased a silver 04 hemi a few weeks ago when I was home on leave. I hate chrome so I went with an all black scheme much like what you have done. I ordered everything now I just need to get home from the f***ing sandbox so I can put it all on. Only differences will be I am rhino lining the bottom trim and my head, tail, and 3rd brake will be smoked. Seeing your truck makes me even more anxious to get home!!!

LOL well first off thank you for your service.....mine started life almost exactly like yours....i had some painted Led tails and 3rd BL, but i got pulled over for them being to dark, i opted for the TYC lights that are on there now and a 60 inch Line of Fire Led bar....Trust me i have thought about lining the bumpers, grill, rockers and bed...but that would run me close to $1k for everything.....but who knows....if i can get brave enough i might just order some SEM and do it myself.
