Default 07 2WD 1500 6" lift suggestions while keeping stock 20" rims

Hey guys,
First off, thanks in advance for helping. I've scoured this forum and others to find a solution to lifting my 07 *2WD* 1500 (Quad-cab) with a 6" suspension lift. Here's the kicker: all while keeping the 20" stock rims and without using spacers. Has anyone found a solution to this?

Stock rims have a 5.75" backspacing, most 6" lifts (ProComp, BDS, etc.) require a 4-5" backspacing. I'm highly skeptical about spacers and would like to avoid them at all costs. (Not interested in a body lift either, but thank you for those who might suggest it.)

Further, I'm running 305/55/20 Terra Grapplers. I don't think that would cause much of an issue, but I'd rather state it up front for indemnity.

Thanks again

no solution to using stock 20s with a 12" tire. You might could get away with it with an 02-05, but not with the 06-08.

But you do understand the tire size you posted is the same height as the stock tires for a 20" rim, right??? It will look kinda funny with the lift and the 33's.

Im at work right now and cant access photobucket, but when I get home if I remember I will post the pic of my truck with 6in and 33s versus 35s. Huge difference, it looks goofy w 33s. I have spacers and a body lift also.

You bring up an interesting point I had not considered. Hopefully the 3" spindles won't cause backspacing issues because I'd hate to have to wait any longer to install my lift.

Thanks for the Before/After. Have you had any issues with the spacers? I've just heard so many horror stories about them. Plus, if I remember correctly, they void warranties from the suspension manufacturers? I live in Orlando, FL, and most of my driving to and from my school is on highway (thus, 55+ mph). Also, I wouldn't want an issue when driving home to South Florida (2+hours at 75mph). I haven't been able to find any reliable information on spacers, other than avoid them, online. Would you be able to point me in a general direction for research?

Living on a law school budget, I can buy the tires / lift or lift/ rims. But not lift, tires, and rims. Thus, the reason why I'm attempting to keep the stock rims, for the 35"s. The statement about the 305/55/20's is mostly because I buy my tires from Sears (because I can get them MUCH cheaper than anywhere else. Long story.). But I would have to find some place that will install the suspension, then drive it to Sears for the tire install. (I'm aware that I could drive the tires over to the suspension installer, but I get free alignments at Sears too.)

Thank you, again, for your advice. Specifically thank you Matt! Great looking truck, that's the exact look I was aiming for.

People run spacers all the time. I haven't had any problems and I drive a hundred miles+ a week. I wouldn't worry
