Any body with fast 4.7s? Is it worth it to mod or should a hemi be swapped in?

I think it depends on if you want to work with what you all ready have or do a swap and what you end goal is there are a few guys that have done some major work to their 4.7 ie custom sc and of course cams and other motor work

I really would be happy to get enough from the 4.7 to be satisfied and not have to deal with a swap I just am trying to see what kind of gains to expect from a cam and other performance parts for the 4.7, and if it would be worth the money

Last I knew there isn't much out there for the 4.7. HO Intakes, HO cams, Exhaust, SC. Part of the reason I haven't tried much with mine.

I agree, not much of a selection with the 4.7s

I don't know if the later heads flow that much better, but they are twin plug. H/O or 206 cams coupled with the later intake (the 08 has been superceded by the 10-11 intake) with some programming should get you some good numbers. Go to airram.com and check out some of the stuff.
