Default The power wire but!?

I have the code saying my intake temp sensor is bad and I have the power wire on never had problems with it till now. what I'm wondering is could i put the resistor on both weirs and eliminate the sensor all together? and it will always say its colder out than it really is.

Does not really pertain to your issue but I recently got p0112 Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor Circuit Low Voltage
Removed AIRRAM power wire and is now code free. Was fine for 6 years until a few weeks ago so it does happen.

right but my hole sensor is gone i took out the wire and the code comes back. I know its not hard to replace and there cheap. but this is what I want to know if I can take one wire solder it to one end of the resistor take the other wire and solder it to the other end of the resistor. but if I do this will it permanently hurt my rig or will it be fine.

No, it needs to see the varying resistance of the sensor itself.
