Talking New Lightbar & Lights [PICS]

Just picked up my new light bar and lights for the truck as a sort of a gift for her for having to go through getting the head gasket and cylinders replaced. Presents always make everything better right?

Anyways, Enjoy.

The light bar I went with was the Smittybilt RPD Lightbar. Has a good pre-runner look to it to go with my truck, and has 3 tabs for lights up to 9" in diameter which is perfect for me.

For the light source I decided to go with the Hella 700FF's. They're big lights (about 8" in diameter), have a great light output, and for $40/light you really can't beat the price.

Bar Mounted. It has a great Pre-runner feel to it for something that is bolt on and not custom fabbed.

And for the switch inside the cab me and my buddy placed it right below the controls for the head/fog lights, just to try and keep everything together.

And here's how it looked before and after the lightbar.

Next up is an HID mod for all 3 of the Hella's. The lights are already pretty damn bright for halogens, but since they're going to mainly be used in the desert at night brighter is better.

Thanks for looking

Looks good, I added the 500FF's behind the grill on my truck. Although it doesn't see much off-road, when driving through the desert to Havasu they help a lot!

Looks pretty good, but it doesn't look very sturdy.

Looks good. Did you have to drill holes and bolt it through that bumper piece in front of the grille?

It's a Smittybilt RPD aka N-Fab DRP, Procomp also has one.

I only bought 3 lights, the pair that comes in the box and the 3rd by itself as if I was replacing one. All off of amazon

Got it for $175 shipped from a performance diesel website. PM me and I can send you the link if you'd like.

Super sturdy. Bolts into the bumper, no wiggling or movement from it whatsoever.

Yeah, it requires drilling 4 holes in the bumper for installation. Like I said before, its pretty sturdy.
