Question Amber LED tail lights

Does anyone have them or even seen them online? I'm trying to find the full tail light assembly for an 02 that has LED bulbs for brake and turn light, but the turn lights are amber color. I thought I saw someones truck on here a month or two back but I can't find that post anymore.
I'm almost tempted to order red ones and just put in a bunch of amber LEDs

Why would you want amber LEDs in your tail lights?

He is wanting it to be a 3 part light, red - brake, amber- turns, and then clear -reverse....very similar to the 02-06 tahoe...

Exactly right, my 02 already has separate brake and turn bulbs. I don't like all the red back there and there's plenty of other trucks (new and old) that still have amber turn lights in the back. I think it looks better.

i have seen amber led lights on e-bay but they are usually on the expensive side and the led lights i have tried in my trucks as brake/turn signal lights have never been bright enough to leave installed.

Were you using just the replacement LED bulbs or did you swap out the entire lamp assembly? I agree that most LED bulbs look like crap when installed in lamp housing designed for incandescent bulbs.

they where led bulbs. i have yet to locate a led lamp assembly for my 30 year old truck.

i had some white leds that where bright enough to be visible but they almost made the red lense look white and it bothered me. i ended up using it as a back-up light

You'd have to rig up a circuit to differentiate between turn signals and brake lights. I'd like to have amber turn signals, too. My other three rides have them. I think it's safer.

What about one of those led light bar that has the "scanning" amber leds for turn signals? That is what I have been looking at for my truck. http://www.plasmaglow.com/firestorm-led-tailgate-bar/
