safe to move up to 35x12.50x20's??

Default safe to move up to 35x12.50x20's??

getting a super deal on a wheel tire package a guy is trading his truck in and wants to sell his 35's 12.50 x20's,, just wondering if i can safely move up to them with my 06 mega cab 4x4? without bustin up any u-joints, etc etc.. i have 33x12.50x17's on it now with no prob at all?

The heavier wheels will put a little more wear on hubs and steering components, but nothing major. Odds are if they would need replacing at say 80k miles with 33's on 17s, you'd probably have to do it at more like 65-70k with the larger wheels. Nothing catastrophic...

good info ,,thanx hammer,, been off the forum for a couple months, truck has been sitting due to gas prices thru the roof,, driving the lil nissan daily,, good to see u guys are still carrying the torch here,,!
