Default under-grill offroad lights

So I've seen a lot of guys on here with some offroad lights inside behind their grilles and was wondering what brands and setups you guys have, like how the hell do you mount them in there? I enjoy the KC Daylighters on my old truck but would you recommend them?,Plus wouldnt some higher powered ones melt the plastic billet? or should I upgrade to metal vertical bars or something?

The Daylighters are good lights, but will generate a good bit more heat and require a good bit more mounting depth than the Hella 500s most opt to use.
