Default Where to go next

I have a 2007 1500 with the 5.7
single in dual out flowmaster 40, 3in with 4 in tips
diablo predator tuner
k&n CAI

I would like to put a true dual exhaust with flowmaster 40's, high flow cats and headers- any one know what size pipe to use? suggestions on cats/headers? does anyone have experience with this type of setup?

Id like to have a custom tune done but the closest CMR is 3.5hrs away if traffic is good

does anyone have an suggestions what mods to do next? i have been debating for quite a while on 4.56 gears. and a limited slip. i am not a mechanic (im a welder if that tells you anything haha) also how can i tell what the diffs are so i make sure i get the right stuff (ive heard good things about Detroit Trutrac but how about the ring and pinion)

Thanks for any advice!

Contact Sean at hemifever@aol.com for all your custom tuning needs
Folks seem to use 2.5 piping w/ x or h piping and has got great results.
You will need gears for 9.25 rear end and 8" IFS for the front if you have 4WD.
Motive and Yukon are some good R&P brand choices.

Sorry forgot to mention that it is 4WD

Where is Sean from? i was under the impression that to get a custom tune it had to be put on the dyno and checked/rechecked etc

2.5" sounds good, that was kinda what i was thinking. i know i have read stuff about x and H pipes so ill find that again. any experience with the true dual set up? im kind of concerned with fit (will all that stuff fit in an area made for half that stuff lol)

Thanks for the input!

Not me but just from reading other threads of folks that has them.
Mine is more simple
Hedman Long Tubes >> No Cats >> 3" Magnaflow Y Pipe >> 3" SI/SO Dynomax Ultra Flo SS Muffler >> Dumped after axle

Since you have a 4WD you will have to deal with paying twice for gear parts and labor since you have to do both the rear and front.

Gears is def' one of my fav mods but i am 2WD.

It's def' not a mod i would do or have a general mechanic do. Guy who did my last two ratios does differentials all day and every day. Lives and breathes it so i knew i was in good hands lol.
