a friend of the family is trading in his 08 ram so he gave me his sc... i plugged it in and used it to record a 1/4 mile run.. i got a 07 ram sbrc 4x4 hemi with 33" mud tires cai and cat back exhaust.. it ran a 15.88 stock... i filled her up with 91 octane and put the chip to 91 performance, i didn't adjust tranny shifts or anything just the basic 91 performance setting and the truck ran a 14.80!

i couldn't believe it dropped little over a second off my 1/4 mile time..has any one else had this improvement?.. i want to adjust the shift points and stuff what do you guys with more experience then me with the sc recommend doing?

just imagine what you can do with custom tuning and a good cam with gears

 

if you look in the superchips sticky at the top of the 3rd gen page you will find lots of input on "the best" settings, including trans shift tables and other settings.
