Grill protector
Hi there, I have a '06 Dodge Ram Hemi Sport, and is black in color. I do a lot of travelling to my cabin on the weekends - some of it being at night. As a result, I often see deer along the road and have even sometimes had to swerve them. I'm thinking it would be a good idea to get a deer catcher installed in the front.
Haven't got a clue though what is good out there, or what to stay away from. Does anyone have any info on this?
Thanks,

The first, single best solution would be a total front bumper/grill replacement with a product like the Ranch Hand.
But obviously, this type of product is also the priciest by far.
I've owned three brands of traditional grill guards, the Bully, the Westin and now a Warn. I have to agree with 'Weed, the Warn uses some of the thickest steel tubing of any I've seen. Again, it's probably the most expensive grill guard out there, but not as much as a total bumper/grill replacement.
The Westin looks nice, but really isn't all that beefy.
Unfortunately, this is gonna be one of those "you get what you pay for" deals. You're not going to find thick gauge steel for a bargain price...
