I still ain't made it to Autozone to get the stored codes for my loss of power problem. I again tried the key code trick...and it just doesn't work for me. Truck is 04 hemi. Just kinda wondering why it won't work. Are the 04's some kind of odd ball on this key code thing?

 

its hit or miss with the 04's some do some dont. my doesnt do it either.

If I'm not mistaken, Chrysler swapped PCM brands in mid year and the early ones the key trick doesn't work on...

 

As said above, common issue on the 04s

 

Mine is a early 04 and the cluster Instrument code key worked many times when i had no programmer. Years later and stacked i try and its a no go.
