Im new here, so sry if tread is in wrong place
I had 06 Hemi Ram 4x4 and upgrade stock exhaust. 06 stock exhaust had 2 resos, one bigger in front of big muffler and small one after that. I took off smaller one and replaced muffler with Cherry Bomb Extreme, sound was great, nice tone, not loud. No drone at all and on highway 70-75mph you cant even hear is it with MDS or V8.
Now I have 08 Hemi Laramie 4x4. Can you tell me pls, dose 08 have only one reso (after stock muffler) and big stock muffler?
I thought exhaust are same 06-08 years.

not to be a jerk, but wouldnt it be faster to go look underneath of the truck? If it has 3 large round pieces of metal then yes it has 2 reso and 1 muffler.

 

yea, I have been under the trucks
I know that they have 2 resos + muffler, but does all 08 years have 1 reso + muffler?

The 2008' only have one resonator and it's located after the muffler just behind the rear tire. It's about 2ft before the tailpipe.
2006/2007/2008 are all different for exhaust styles but ANY aftermarket exhaust that fits a 2006 will fit a 2008 vice-versus.

at the moment I have only last reso with no muffler, now I have to find some new muffler there, maybe Cherry Bomb Extreme again

Yep, 06/07 have the front resonator, 08 only has one.

 

I just removed the large mufler and kept the two resos (2006 mod). Great sound an a very cheap mod.

 

I just removed the muffler on my 07, leaving a small resonator (smaller than in lxman's picture) and it is just too loud. I didn't even stomp on it and the truck is loud. Guess I'll be putting the OEM back on for a while...

I also had on my 08 hemi only last reso on. Not loud for me
If its only v8 mode, its very nice and not loud, but with v4 too much.
Im thinking to add cherry bomb extreme again. What you guys think, which is better SO 3" or DO 2"?
