Default Need A new Exhaust System From Cats back!

Ok so I go away for the weekend to see my girlfriend and i come back to my dad telling me the exhaust system from the muffler on broke and so practically the rear of the exhaust system came off. I have a 50 series suv exhaust system and to be honest i wanna go to the flow-masters headquarter and kick someone in the ***** for a cheap piece of ****. I had it done in Texas right before i had the truck shipped up here by a legit exhaust shop. Its disappointing and exciting at the same time. Disappointing because i really don't want to spend on a new exhaust system, but have to so i don't loose fuel economy. Exciting because i can possible try something different. So i have a 2002 Dodge ram 1500 4.7L 2wd. I am looking at magna flow, Gibson Performance, and possibly flow-masters. I say possibly flow-masters b/c there is that poll on exhaust done a while back and people were going on about single inlet duel out let 40 series. I just want something that will wake up the ****ing neighbor hood. So please send me sites links on what you got. I am looking up exhaust systems currently but no good results for flow-masters. Thanks for the help

There's a reason people call Flowmasters "Rustmasters" also they are among the worst "flowing" mufflers on the market.

Advertising dollars can go a LONG way in the truck/car aftermarket game. EVERYBODY perceives these to be a quality product, until, like me, they learn the hard way...

I have the Cherry Bomb Extreme and did my system (long tube headers on back) myself. Don't buy this muffler if you have neighbors with guns who don't like to be woken up in the morning or when you come in late! It's deep and LOUD!

Magnaflows are a good, safe choice. Moderate decibels and all stainless...

Talking

Dynomax UltraFlo SS, got it from Summit's ebay storefront as they were clearing them out recently. Been running Dynomax products since the early '90's so I favor their products.

And for the same reasons Hammer gave about the Cherry Bomb, don't get this either...

I had a Magnaflow cat back on my 02 4.7 and Loved the sound & look.

Check out http:\\hottexhaust.com search for discount codes which can save 30% or try the make an offer and lowball it., they will reply with a decent offer. If it's not too far look at picking it up to save another $50 or so.

Magnaflow is a very good set-up.
www.performancepeddler.com is where I got mine for the best price I could find. On my porch in 2 days. Send them a lowball offer and they will give you the cheapest price out there.

ok so this is a site i am looking at. http://www.truckexhaustkits.com/prod...haust-Kit.html. I herd what the super 10 sounds like and i think its awesome but i do like what hammer said about the cherry bomb. For the loud exhaust that you guys recommend do you have a sound clip so i could hear what they sound like before making a choice. Let me know what you think of the site also. thanks guys for all the help. I have short jba headers on it. So don't know if that will make the difference.

actually the Flowmaster Super 10 is a Cherry Bomb Extreme knock-off. The same single chamber with single wing plate design, they should sound very similar...

I hope you don't have any neighbors with a 10 series muffler or you may get shot.
