what brand of aftermarket gears/LSD's are you running?
Ive decided on doing my inertia heads/cam project with this year's tax returns, but in the mean time I was looking into ditching the stock LSD and 3.55's with some 4:10 or 4:56's and an aftermarket LSD. I was looking on randy's ring and pinion at richmond gears. Yukon also has an aftermarket LSD thats a little bit cheaper than an auburn, but I have never heard of it before. Has anyone ever tried one of these? It has to be better than the chrysler diff. When it comes to gears, I was thinking about going conservative and getting 4:10 Yukon gears, but apparently they dont make 4:10's... 4:56's would be the next logical choice. chrylser gears are like 700$ and im not paying that. My question is, are the 4:56's too aggressive for a daily driver? I dont want to be running 3000 RPM with my cruise on 60 all the way to work. My neighbor owns a transmission shop and I talked to him about it. He said he'd do it cheap for me if I did all my homework and got all the parts he'd probably only charge me like 400$ to set up the rear end. Anyone have any experience with this? Id love to hear about it.

i know some of the cheap gears say they're not recommended for everyday vehicles, probably because they're not very good and will be really loud... but yea, the install is very important here.. which is why Im not doing it myself
